Some Celtic fans have been left angry by their latest fixture announcement involving their clash against Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup.
The Hoops recently beat St. Johnstone in the quarter-finals thanks to a late Ryan Christie goal, which set up the semi-final clash with Aberdeen in the semi-final at Hampden Park.
Recently, the Hoops’ Twitter account posted a confirmation of their fixture and revealed when the game will be played. They confirmed that the date is Easter Sunday – something that didn’t go down too well with fans.
Should a Cup semi-final ever take place on Easter Sunday?
Never, it makes no sense

They made their opinions clear soon after.

Easter Sunday game – again! Not good.

Disgraceful honestly sometimes I wonder if the SFA are intentionally trying to turn supporters away

First out the hat, last to play, cheers SFA.

The Hoops have not lost a single domestic cup game this season, having won the League Cup in 2019 by beating Rangers in the final. Neil Lennon’s men have also beaten Partick Thistle, Clyde and St. Johnstone in the Scottish Cup.
What do we think?
Celtic have now won 34 domestic cup matches in a row, as per the club’s official Twitter handle. This leaves them in good stead no matter who they face in the semi-final, let alone Aberdeen.
However, it might be a tough ask for fans to get to Hampden Park during the holiday period, though a cup semi-final may prove to be too good to miss. Considering the club is yet to lose a single domestic game in 2020, it may be worth the effort to see their side win.
