Some Celtic fans have been laughing at a commentary piece from an Old Firm derby from the days gone by.
The Old Firm derby was supposed to take place on Sunday this coming weekend, but the SFA have suspended all football matches due to growing health risks.
Prior to that announcement, Celtic fans have been enjoying looking back at an Old Firm derby from days gone by. A video was posted by ‘CelticLisboa’ and it had a commentary piece that described a foul on Leigh Griffiths as ‘sensational’ despite it being a foul. The resulting penalty went in and the commentator described it as a ‘huge slice of luck’.
Do referees favour Rangers in Old Firm derbies?
They surely do
Depends on the venue
Many Celtic fans have been laughing at this piece of commentary. They made their opinions clear.

A total of three Old Firm derbies have been played in all competitions this season. Two have been played in the Premiership, while one came in the final of the League Cup this season. Celtic won the League Cup final 1-0, while Rangers won the most recent one in the Premiership at the end of 2019. Neil Lennon’s men had won the first Old Firm of the season.
What do we think?
The Premiership might have been suspended for the time being, but there needs to be no specific time to have a go at a fierce rival. The video does show that Leigh Griffiths was brought down in the box and it wasn’t a ‘sensational’ tackle by any means.
