Some Celtic fans have been debating about a selection dilemma involving Ryan Christie and Tom Rogic ahead of the upcoming Old Firm derby.
The Hoops face Rangers at Ibrox this coming weekend and a win for Celtic will take them 16 points clear at the top of the table in the Premiership. Neil Lennon’s men have already won a couple of Old Firm derbies this season across all competitions, losing one.
A Celtic-related page called CelticBible asked fans about who they would start out of Christie and Rogic at the weekend.
This left fans in a dilemma.
Christie for his work rate. Recent fixtures have suggested its going to be a battle in the middle of the park.

Not for me. Has never turned up against Rangers. Rogic for me

Christie to start, due to his work rate. If we need a goal, we can bring on Rogic later in the game.

Christie give you more. Getting about the pitch and can put the boot in

For me Rogic needs to start with his technical abilities and bring Christie on second half when their legs are starting to go as he’s like a Duracell battery. #hailhail

Would prefer Ntcham but out of these 2 Ryan

Rogic. Christie has a habit of going missing in old firm games.

Has to be Rogic, simply because I reckon he is a better football player.

Christie had recently scored a late winner for the Hoops in their 1-0 win over St. Johnstone in the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup. Rogic, on the other hand, got a stoppage-time equaliser for the side in their 2-2 draw against Livingston in the Premiership recently.
Who starts in the Old Firm: Christie or Rogic?
Rogic, surely
Has to be Christie
What do we think?
Christie has contributed to as many as 35 goals in 43 appearances in all competitions this season. He got an assist for the club in the League Cup final against the Gers and has featured in all of the side’s last seven Premiership games.
It shows that the midfielder is well capable of making an impact against Rangers. Starting him at the weekend might turn out to be a good idea, perhaps more so than Rogic.
