What do we think?
Birmingham City finished ninth in the Premier League table in the 2009/10 season. According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the 2009/10 season saw the Blues earn their best top-flight finish since earning promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs in the 2001/02 season, ending their 16-year exile from England’s top flight.
Considering that they finished in ninth place that year, some Blues fans may harbour more positive memories of that particular campaign. Additionally, considering the impressive nature of Jerome’s superb strike at Anfield, it may be understandable why some Birmingham fans have been reacting positively to this footage.
