Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have slammed Henri Camara after a Twitter post from the Express and Star journalist, Joe Edwards.

On Wednesday, the journalist relayed a ‘Where Are They Now?’ article which was on the Old Gold’s former Senegalese striker (per Joe Edwards), which left supporters slating Camara.
With Wolves getting ready to take on Olympiacos, let's take a look at the man who knows both Wolverhampton and Athens very well… Henri Camara. It's the latest Where Are They Now? #wwfc https://t.co/1k6ET0t4ss

Don’t care what he says. Guy is a snake.

He was poison mate, didn’t help that he was advised and guided by Willy Mckay

Why even bother with him, he scarpered at the first chance of any little team going up into the Prem.

Is Henri Camara's departure from Wolves being made out to be worse than it really was?No, he genuinely was a snakeYes, it really wasn't that bad |
The, now, 42-year-old retired striker was a Wolves player between 2003 and 2005, having arrived from CS Sedan-Ardennes and departing for Wigan Athletic, however, had two loan spells to Celtic and Southampton while with the Old Gold (per Transfermarkt).
In total, Camara only made 31 appearances for the Molineux club over his two-year stay in the midlands, during which he bagged seven goals (per Transfermarkt).
He was shocking until a few weeks before the end of the season, and when trying to get a move away we gifted him POTY. He didn’t deserve it over the other candidates and 3 successive relegations and not setting the world alight in Scotland was a little sweetener.

Surely Podence is the man who will be able to give wolves the inside track.

This went well.

What do we think?
Over the duration of his career, Camara made appearances for 15 separate domestic football clubs (per Transfermarkt), which could perhaps place him in the category of ‘journeyman’.
However, after his ‘acrimonious’ departure from the Old Gold (per Express and Star) it is clear that Wolves supporters hold little nostalgia for the retired Senegalese forward.
