Would you be willing to see Dion Sanderson move to Aston Villa on loan next season?Yes, would be good for developmentNo, he can go to anyone but them |
During the January transfer window, the 20-year-old defender moved to the Bluebirds on loan for the remainder of the season (as per BBC).
Since his switch from Molineux to the Cardiff City Stadium, Sanderson has featured in three Championship games, during which he has bagged one assist (per Transfermarkt).
However, while some supporters were desperate to not see the defender make a loan move to their Midlands rivals, others were more open to the possibility of the loan switch.

What do we think?
Despite only having made three appearances for Cardiff in the Championship, Sanderson has a 7.18/10 average match rating (as per WhoScored), showing the youngster clearly has talent.
While supporters were divided over the potential loan move to a rival, if the 20-year-old will not be getting minutes at Molineux next season, a loan move to Villa either in the Premier League or Championship could be best for the defender’s development.
