Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been left furious by WhoScored’s Europa League Team of the Season so far.

On Monday, the Twitter account shared the Team of the Season so far for the European competition based on average ratings (per WhoScored), which failed to include a single of the Old Gold’s players, which had fans livid.

To kick off this quiz on the goings-on at Molineux last week, on Thursday, the Old Gold posted an 'on this day' goal from 2011, but who scored it?

Should Wolves have had a representative in WhoScored's Europa League Team of the Season so far?

Over the duration of the Europa League so far this season, Adama Traore is the side’s best-performing player to have featured in more than one game with a 7.48/10 average rating (per WhoScored).

Following the image posted by WhoScored, many supporters called for Diogo Jota to have been selected, however, the Portuguese attacker has only had a 7.16/10 average rating in the competition (per WhoScored).

What do we think?

As can be judged from the responses of Wolves supporters, the image from WhoScored seemed to have got under many of their skins due to the lack of a Molineux representative.

Unfortunately, however, the team was decided by average ratings across the whole competition and despite bagging two hat-tricks, Jota’s rating over the whole tournament so far has not been high enough (per WhoScored).
