Supporters of West Ham United have been left in stitches after the club posted footage of an Andriy Yarmolenko goal against Norwich City.

On Wednesday, the Hammers shared the footage which was ‘dedicated’ to a West Ham supporter who had repeatedly asked for the goal to be tweeted (per West Ham). The West Ham supporters loved it.

The goal which was scored by the Ukrainian attacker was the opening goal in a 2-0 victory over the Canaries at the London Stadium earlier this season (per BBC).

Yarmolenko’s impressive finish against Norwich was one of three goals scored by the 30-year-old in the Premier League so far this season, having also bagged an assist in his 15 appearances (per Transfermarkt).

What do we think?

While football remains suspended (per Sky Sports), it is good to see clubs’ Twitter accounts being creative with their content and engaging with supporters.

As for the strike itself, it is a great display of technique from the Ukrainian and certainly worth the revisit form the Hammers (as per West Ham).
