On Wednesday, the Irons posted an announcement that the club ‘continues to closely monitor the situation regarding the coronavirus outbreak’ (as per West Ham), which fans reacted to.

According to the statement from the club, the Irons are continuing to ‘closely monitor’ the situation with coronavirus and that ‘all necessary measures are being taken’ (per West Ham).
However, supporters continued to air that they felt negative about the announcement and continued to share their various gripes over what the club had to say.

What do we think?
At this stage, there is little else that the London club could say to supporters and at least they are letting fans know that they are conscious of the issues of coronavirus.
However, as can be seen in the responses from supporters, they were not too bothered about the club statement and some felt that it revealed very little.
