To kick off this quiz on what happened with West Ham last week, which out-of-contract striker did many Hammers fans air they would hate to be signed late in the week?

Over the duration of the Premier League season so far, the 31-year-old defender has been the tenth-best performer for David Moyes’ side with a respectable 6.69/10 average rating (per WhoScored).

Following the Italian’s post to Twitter (per Angelo Ogbonna), West Ham supporters continued to wax lyrical over his talents.

What do we think?

Ogbonna has been with the Hammers since he arrived in London from Juventus in the summer of 2015 for a reported £10 million transfer fee.

Since then, he has scored nine times and assisted once over 152 appearances (per Transfermarkt), whilst also clearly gaining the adoration of many of the London Stadium faithful.
