Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to slate the performance of Harry Winks during the penalty defeat against Norwich in the FA Cup.
The England international started alongside Oliver Skipp in the Spurs midfield for the game against Daniel Farke’s side, but struggled throughout; earning a 6.42 rating for his performance. The 24-year-old was replaced in the second half as Mourinho’s side pushed for a winner, but they were unable to grab another goal and ultimately paid the price on penalties.
So far this season, Winks has averaged a disappointing 6.52 rating for his performances in the Premier League and his display on Wednesday night reflected his struggles for the North London club.
Is Winks good enough for Spurs?
Yes
No

Winks and Skipp a midfield that would struggle in League 1 #THFC #COYS

Another game, another Winks performance proving he is not this level and people need to stop overrating him.
He has not ‘got it’. #COYS #THFC

Harry Winks just lost his place for me. Skipp looks a million miles better than him.

Winks always getting there a step too late & never close enough to tackle . Skipp head n shoulders above him on this display , perhaps Winks is overdue a sit down too . Remember Poch was losing faith in him , hardly played a full game

Spurs sinking fast. Dele Alli not even bothering. Harry Winks looks a park pitch player and it’s ludicrous that he starts above Ndombele . Bonkers selections by The Boring One.

Harry Winks also the most over rated player at the club! Someone tel me what he does?

I do not wanna see Harry Winks play for Spurs again I’m not even joking. He is not good enough.

These Spurs fans clearly weren’t impressed with Winks’ performance against Norwich, with many suggesting that the academy graduate simply isn’t good enough.
What do we think?
Winks, who is valued at £36 million (as per Transfermarkt), has really struggled when given the opportunity so far this season and will be disappointed that he produced another poor display during the penalty defeat against Norwich on Wednesday night.
