Spurs fans were delighted to see Ledley King helping out with training at the North London club this week.
The image was shared on Twitter by Talking THFC and showed the former Spurs defender alongside Giovani Lo Celso in training. The 39-year-old featured 317 times for Spurs in his time with the club, although regular injury problems perhaps prevented him from establishing himself as more of a regular in the national side; with just 21 caps to his name.
It is perhaps no surprise that King is helping out with the first-team squad, with Jose Mourinho’s side having kept just four clean sheets in the Premier League so far this season. Perhaps with his guidance, Spurs will be able to put in the sort of strong defensive displays that they will arguably need if they are to finish in the top four this season.
Is Ledley King the best centre-back Spurs have had in recent years?
Yes

These Spurs fans were clearly delighted to see King helping out in training, with many joking that they would love to see the 39-year-old start against RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
What do we think?
Spurs’ defence has been poor this season so who better than Ledley King to bring in to help out the first-team squad ahead of one of their most important games of the season in Germany on Tuesday evening.
