Spurs fans have been reacting to the news that Davinson Sanchez has returned to training after recovering from the minor injury that kept him out of the game against RB Leipzig earlier this week.
The Colombian defender can be seen in some training images released by the club and fan account Daily Hotspur shared the good news with fellow supporters. The 23-year-old has made 22 appearances in the Premier League so far this season, averaging a disappointing 6.74 rating.
Since signing from Ajax in what was a club-record deal back in 2017, Sanchez has made 110 appearances for the North London club; scoring just one goal. It can only be good news for Jose Mourinho that the Colombian international is back training ahead of Sunday’s important game against one of the Portuguese manager’s former sides in Manchester United.
Would you start Davinson Sanchez against Manchester United?

Some Spurs fans were less happy with the news however.
His decision making is awful like most of our defence

Great just what we needed another ineffectual defender

These Spurs fans are split between being happy that the Colombian is back fit and seemingly believing that the £54 million rated man isn’t good enough.
What do we think?
Considering Spurs’ defensive woes in the defeat to Leipzig on Tuesday night, Mourinho will surely be happy to have a more experienced defender back training and with Japhet Tanganga having really struggled on Tuesday, perhaps it would not be a surprise to see Sanchez start
