Spurs fans have been discussing Troy Parrott after the 18-year-old took just eight minutes to score against Wolves in an U23 fixture on Monday night.
The Republic of Ireland international started up front for Wayne Burnett’s side and opened the scoring in a 3-2 win for the North London club. Spurs’ official Twitter page was providing updates on the game and after the young striker scored early on, a lot of fans commented in frustration.
Parrott was thrown on in added time during Spurs’ defeat against Wolves on Sunday afternoon and was quick to show Jose Mourinho why he might have been worthy of more of a chance in the reserve fixture on Monday night. The 18-year-old has featured just three times for the senior side this season, despite the long-term injury suffered by Harry Kane back in January.
Should Parrott start against Norwich?

These Spurs fans are clearly desperate to see Parrott start some games for the senior side after his goal against Wolves in the U23 game.
What do we think?
It sounds as if Parrott had an excellent game against Wolves and was replaced at half time, which potentially means the £3.6 million-rated man could feature against Norwich in the FA Cup on Wednesday.
