Spurs fans have been reacting to the news that Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has hired ‘super-agent’ Pini Zahavi, a man who reportedly has a good relationship with Daniel Levy.
The appointment of Zahavi has seemingly added substance to the rumours that he could join up with the Lilywhites this summer after Sky Sports reported in January that he is one of their top transfer targets.
So far this season, the 24-year-old has averaged a decent 6.83 rating in the top flight for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side, despite contributing zero goals and just one assist. Currently valued at £13.5 million by transfermarkt, it seems as if Spurs’ chances of signing the former Bayern Munich man ahead of next season have increased following the Zahavi appointment.
Would Hojbjerg be a good signing for Spurs?

Yes, but he’s way better than Dier atm. Realistic option considering other positions need to be prioritized

It seems therefore that Spurs fans are split by the potential signing of the Southampton midfielder.
What do we think?
Spurs are arguably in need of a defensive-midfielder, considering Victor Wanyama’s injury problems and Eric Dier’s poor performances, and with Hojbjerg’s main strengths being aerial duels, interceptions, and concentration perhaps he would be a good addition to Mourinho’s midfield.
