Spurs fans have been discussing a post from Alasdair Gold in which he reveals that Daniel Levy and ENIC have no intention of selling the club.
The Football.london journalist posted a link to his article on Twitter, in which he relays some of the quotes made by Levy in a recent meeting with the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust. He includes some minutes from the meeting, in which Levy reveals that: “The expectation was that income reinvestment would grow the equity value but that there was no intention to sell and that no valuation had been made of the equity value.”
Since taking over the club in 2000, ENIC and Levy have overseen serious financial growth at the North London club, with Spurs recently named as the eighth-richest team in football. However, a lack of spending in the summer and January transfer windows have arguably been a factor in what has been a nightmare season for the North London club, with Champions League football seeming unlikely at this point to return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season.

Fans need to start boycotting matches, they will soon sell up when they realise they can’t fleece the fans for money

New stadium is arguably the worst thing to happen to us..
More revenue streams for Levy, making the football fan less powerful.
ENIC will make money regardless. We don’t get top 4, no money for players. Levy knows the stadium will still be full of tourists

These Spurs fans clearly aren’t too happy with the latest update on Levy and worry about the implications that him staying could have on the club.
What do we think?
Although Spurs have enjoyed financial success, the success on the pitch has not matched that, with their last trophy coming in the 2007/08 season, so it is understandable why lots of fans want ENIC out.
