Spurs fans have been reacting to the news that former manager Mauricio Pochettino has been in touch with the players at the North London club in recent weeks.
The Argentinian spoke to Radio Del Plata, with TNT Sports having transcribed his quotes, about how he has offered some direction to his former employers and offered them advice amidst the current viral outbreak. LastWordonSpurs shared this news with supporters of the North London club on Twitter and it amassed a lot of responses from fans.
He told Radio Del Plata that he had told his players: “I told them that there is no need to be at risk and that football takes second place to health.”

It seems clear that these Spurs fans still think highly of Pochettino and would love him back at the club.
What do we think?
Despite being sacked by Daniel Levy in November of last year, this news seems to suggest that Pochettino still has a good relationship with a lot of the players at the club. Hopefully, when football does restart, we will see the 48-year-old back in management sooner rather than later.
