Spurs fans have been discussing a transfer rumour linking their club with Real Betis striker Loren Moron in the summer transfer window.

According to La Razon (via Ricky Sacks), Jose Mourinho is interested in bringing the Spanish striker to the Premier League ahead of next season. So far this season, the striker has contributed nine goals in 26 appearances in La Liga, where his performances have earned him a disappointing 6.69 average rating.

Spurs would, according to the report, have to beat Napoli to the signing of the Real Betis man, who will no doubt be well known to current Spurs ace Giovani Lo Celso after his time with the Spanish club. With Harry Kane having spent a significant portion of this season out injured, it is no surprise to see Mourinho on the hunt for a potential back-up to the England captain ahead of his first full campaign as Lilywhites boss.

How well do you remember Spurs' run to the Champions League final last season? - Which of these teams weren't in Spurs' group?

These Spurs fans are seemingly split between thinking he would be a worthwhile signing and not wanting to bring him to the Premier League.

What do we think?

Moron is 26-years-old and his performances have not been the best in La Liga so far this season, so it would perhaps be a strange signing for the North London club. He is currently valued at £18 million by Transfermarkt, so, you imagine that Spurs could find a better cheaper deal elsewhere.
