Spurs fans have been discussing some footage of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp during the Reds’ 3-2 defeat against Atletico Madrid earlier this week.
The Liverpool manager can be seen swearing at some Liverpool fans who were attempting to shake the German’s hand as he came out onto the pitch, which perhaps isn’t too surprising considering the pandemic which is dominating the news at the moment.
The video was shared with Spurs fans via LastWordonSpurs after being posted by BR Football, with many wondering how Jose Mourinho would be portrayed by the media had he done something similar.
Is Mourinho unfairly treated by the media?
Yes
No
Reaction from Spurs fans to the video of Klopp can be seen in the tweets below.
The media hate Jose. They want him to fail so badly it’s a joke

Such is life.
TBF Jose has handled stuff pretty well so far, a lot more relaxed than his Man U days. Hopefully with a fully fit squad we can make a comeback next season.— Spurs2257 (@spurscad) March 13, 2020
These Spurs fans certainly seem to think that Mourinho would be slated had that been him swearing at his own fans.
What do we think?
Klopp was perhaps right to urge fans to put their hands away, especially with the pandemic having now caused the Premier League to postpone all fixtures until the 3rd April at the earliest, but perhaps he could have done it in a less aggressive manner.
