Under former manager Mauricio Pochettino, Spurs finished the 2016/17 season in 2nd place in the Premier League table on 86 points ahead of the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United (per Transfermarkt). In 53 matches played in that season, Spurs won 33 of them, drawing 10 and losing 10 (per Transfermarkt). As the footage of that season started to make the rounds on Twitter again, this gave these Spurs fans the perfect opportunity to relive the campaign again.
shame about the away record or would’ve walked the title

What do we think?
It’s great to see these fans looking back at the 2016/17 with such positivity even though the team didn’t actually win a trophy that season.
