In an article from their website, the FA revealed that McDermott will “play a leadership role in the strategic direction of the technical division at St. George’s Park as a world-leading performance, research and education centre.”

As Gold revealed this news on his Twitter page, this quickly caught the attention of a lot of Spurs fans who couldn’t help but share their thoughts on this latest update.
