Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting on Twitter to the latest announcement from Alasdair Gold.
This comes after the journalist shared a post on his official Twitter page quote-tweeting a post from the FA who revealed that Spurs’ head of academy John McDermott will leave the club to join the FA this June.
Gold then claimed that this is a “big loss” for the North-London club as McDermott has been “involved in developing a lot of talented” players that have made it into the first team.

In an article from their website, the FA revealed that McDermott will “play a leadership role in the strategic direction of the technical division at St. George’s Park as a world-leading performance, research and education centre.”

It’s a shame that Spurs have lost one of their important members of staff that would have undoubtedly been an important figure at the club given his role.
