This week Tottenham Hotspur fans reacted to news that Philippe Coutinho is ‘unlikely to join Tottenham’ despite a deal to bring the player to North London being all but agreed in the summer.
According to Diario SPORT, Coutinho was left frustrated by the negotiation tactics utilised by Daniel Levy at the last minute of the deal. This, reportedly, left the player angered, with him now admitting that Tottenham would be his last option for a transfer.
This news was relayed to Tottenham fans via @TranSPURS on Twitter. While one or two fans felt that the rumours were false, many were willing to believe that a deal could have broken down because of Levy. They were subsequently left frustrated at his incompetency.
