Spurs fans have been reacting to the news that the club are reportedly interested in signing RB Leipzig midfielder Marcel Sabitzer in the summer transfer window.
According to SportBILD (via Marc BA), the North London club are interested in signing the 26-year-old midfielder ahead of next season. The Austrian international is currently valued at £36 million by Transfermarkt, so it could represent an expensive deal should Jose Mourinho manage to bring him to the North London club.
So far this season, the creative midfielder has impressed in the Bundesliga; having contributed eight goals and five assists across 25 appearances; averaging a superb 7.32 rating. He is, of course, well known to a lot of Spurs fans, as he scored twice in Leipzig’s 3-0 win over Spurs in the Champions League earlier this month.

Would be a fantastic signing – but why on earth would he want to come here.

I’ll have him, quality player

Like the player but we clearly need help in other areas… I have to believe he would be a nice addition but Jose is going to focus all of his attention to the back 4, DM, back up S and possibly new goalie…

These Spurs fans clearly feel that Sabitzer would be a quality signing for the club.
What do we think?
Sabitzer has impressed so far this season but considering Leipzig were comfortably the better side in their recent game against Mourinho’s side, it would perhaps be a surprise to see him make the move to the Lilywhites.
