Spurs fans have been reacting to the transfer rumour linking them and Chelsea with a move for AFC Bournemouth’s Aaron Ramsdale.
According to Daily Mail Sport (via Ricky Sacks), the ‘keeper has emerged as a target for both the North London club and Chelsea in the summer transfer window, after Hugo Lloris’ recent struggles. The 33-year-old was arguably at fault for RB Leipzig’s first (0:38) and second (2:04) goals during the Champions League defeat on Tuesday night and missed 21 games earlier in the season through injury.
So far this season, Ramsdale has featured in 28 games in the Premier League; averaging a 6.77 rating, keeping just four clean sheets. The England U’21 international is currently valued at £12.6 million by transfermarkt and with Bournemouth in danger of relegation to the Championship, perhaps Spurs could sign him on a cut-price deal in the summer.
Would Ramsdale be a good signing for Spurs?

Reaction from Spurs fans to the reported interest in Ramsdale can be seen in the tweets below.
I would LOVE that. He’s shown spectacular promise in his young career. Some of you may remember his performance in his first ever PL start against us last season, when Sonny was sent off. He hasn’t taken a backward step since.

We desperately now need a new goalkeeper.

Dude is excellent. Will replace Pickford on the National Team or at least split with Henderson.

He was very good against us last year

These Spurs fans would clearly like to see their club make a move for Ramsdale in the summer transfer window.
What do we think?
Ramsdale is young and English so may potentially come at an inflated price but Lloris’ performance against Leipzig suggests he may be past his best, so bringing in a 21-year-old who has already played 28 games in the Premier League seems like a good idea on paper.
