Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to criticise the performance of Tanguy Ndombele during the FA Cup defeat to Norwich City on Wednesday night.

The Frenchman came on as a second-half substitute during the game against Daniel Farke’s side but struggled to have much of an impact, earning a disappointing 6.69 rating for his performance. The Frenchman completed just one dribble and had no shots on goal in his time on the pitch, with the 23-year-old’s last goal for the club coming in the 2-1 win over Southampton back in September.

Since joining from Lyon in a club-record deal during the summer, the midfielder has started just 16 games in all competitions for the North London club, as injury and fitness issues continue to cause problems.

Who holds the record of having scored the quickest goal in Premier League history?

These Spurs fans clearly weren’t impressed with Ndombele’s performance vs Norwich and feel as if he is proving to be a waste of money.

What do we think?

It says a lot that 19-year-old Oliver Skipp was able to play for 120 minutes in his first start under Mourinho, but Ndombele has completed 90 minutes just five times in his Tottenham career. The £58.5 million-rated man seriously needs to work on his fitness, otherwise, he looks unlikely to make it in the Premier League.
