Spurs fans took to Twitter to slam the performance of Tanguy Ndombele during the 1-1 draw with Burnley at the weekend.

The 23-year-old started the game at Turf Moor but was hauled off at half-time and has since been criticised by Jose Mourinho, with the Portuguese manager saying: “I have to say that Tanguy has had enough time to be at a different level” per Charlie Eccleshare. The former Lyon man has seriously struggled in recent weeks and once again failed to have an impact on the game, earning a 6.34 rating for his first-half display.

Since joining for a club-record fee in the summer, Ndombele has started just 17 games in all competitions for the North London club, with fitness issues seemingly preventing the French international from showing the sort of form which made him so sought after during his time with Lyon.

Do you think Ndombele has run out of chances at Spurs?

Who is Spurs' top scorer in all competitions so far this season?

These Spurs fans clearly weren’t too impressed with Ndombele’s performance or his attitude since joining in the summer.

What do we think?

Mourinho has now called out Ndombele so he needs to prove to his manager that he is working hard to improve and if he doesn’t, then it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him shipped out in the summer.
