Spurs fans were devasted to hear that the club is continuing to be linked with a move for Liverpool centre-back Dejan Lovren.
According to TEAMtalk (via The Spurs Web), the North London club are ready to make an offer for the Croatian defender this summer, with the 30-year-old reportedly keen on a move to the capital. So far this season, the former Southampton man has made just nine appearances in the Premier League; but has averaged an impressive 7.14 rating for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Since joining from the Saints in 2014, the centre-back has gone on to make 184 appearances for the Reds but it seems as if his time in Merseyside may be coming to an end, with Joe Gomez seemingly the first-choice to partner Virgil van Dijk at the back.

These Spurs fans clearly aren’t too keen on the idea of Lovren joining the Lilywhites this summer.
What do we think?
Lovren is currently valued at £18 million by Transfermarkt but could potentially come cheaper if Liverpool are keen to move him on. With Jan Vertonghen looking likely to leave in the summer when his contract expires, perhaps the Croatian could prove to be an experienced replacement.
