Spurs fans have been reacting to the news that the North London club are currently the only side in the capital still training this week.
With the Premier League currently suspended, it would perhaps not be a surprise if Jose Mourinho’s side had stopped training, but Evening Standard journalist Dan Kilpatrick confirmed earlier this week that since there is not yet advice for sides not to train, the Lilywhites will continue to do so. In a footballing sense, it seems like good news that Mourinho will be able to continue working with his squad and help the likes of Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko continue their rehabilitation from injury.
However, considering that Manchester United have cancelled first-team training in line with government advice, it seems like only a matter of time until the Spurs players will be training at home.
Do you think it is a good idea for players to continue training?
Yes
No
Reaction from Spurs fans to the news that the squad trained together on Tuesday can be seen in the tweets below.
Quite frankly I’ve got absolutely no problem with this – Jose needs to spend this time with those players, huge improvements are required!!!

Other Spurs fans seem to think it’s less of a good idea, however.
Seems stupid.

One fan even suggested that Daniel Levy was behind the team still training. Indeed, this wouldn’t be the first ruthless decision he has made as he made the huge decision to axe Mauricio Pochettino earlier on in the current campaign.
Daniel Levy is absolutely ruthless

What do we think?
It is all up in the air as to what will happen with the Premier League this season but you can’t blame Mourinho for wanting his players to continue to train until specifically advised otherwise.
