In the absence of Premier League football, Spurs’ official Twitter account posted their top ten goals of the season so far, which included Christian Eriksen’s free-kick against Norwich from earlier in the season.
The footage shows the Danish international curling in a wonderful free-kick against Daniel Farke’s side, which was his last goal for the club before he completed a move to Inter during the January transfer window. In total, the 28-year-old played 305 times for the North London club; contributing 69 goals and 89 assists.
The former Ajax man has not enjoyed too much success in his brief time with Antonio Conte’s side; having averaged a disappointing 6.32 rating in his four appearances in Serie A. He did, however, managed to grab his first goal for the club in a 2-0 win over Ludogorets in the Europa League but may be forced to wait some time for his next in an Inter shirt, due to the current suspension.

I may be in a minority, but I’m going to say it anyway – I miss Christian so much, he was an incredible player for us over several years, an exceptionally talented, modest and professional player. I hope he’s happy in the next stage of his career. He deserves it

These Spurs fans clearly enjoyed the footage of Eriksen, with several commenting how much they miss the Danish international.
What do we think?
It was a great free-kick from Eriksen and a fitting way for him to finish his Spurs career. As much as some fans would love to see him back at the North London club, his comments after leaving suggest that a return to the Lilywhites is unlikely.
