Spurs fans have been discussing a transfer rumour which suggests that Juventus would be willing to sell Paulo Dybala this summer, in an attempt to sign Harry Kane from the North London club.

According to Italian news outlet TuttoSport, as quoted in Sport Witness (via Ricky Sacks), Maurizio Sarri’s side are willing to sell their Argentinian ace in an attempt to lure Kane away from the Premier League. The Italian side would reportedly try and sign the England captain this summer if they are unable to sign their number-one target Mauro Icardi.

Spurs were, of course, close to signing Dybala in last year’s summer transfer window, but issues with the 26-year-old’s image rights caused the deal to come unstuck. Since then, he has been in fantastic form for the Old Lady, averaging an impressive 7.37 WhoScored match rating for his performances in Serie A. However, the question remains whether Spurs would be willing to let a man who has 181 goals in 278 appearances for the North London club leave.

Reaction from Spurs fans to the reported news on Dybala and Kane can be seen in the tweets below.

One fan even suggested that Daniel Levy could pull off a deal that results in Paulo Dybala moving to Spurs and Harry Kane staying put, which seems a little far fetched as it appears as if the Italian club may only sanction a deal for the Argentine if the Englishman goes the other way.

How well do you remember Spurs' run to the Champions League final last season? - Which of these teams weren't in Spurs' group?

It seems as if all of these Spurs fans want to sign Dybala but a lot don’t want to see Kane leave.

What do we think?

If Spurs do end up without Champions League football next season, then it would perhaps not be a surprise to see their talismanic striker leave in order to play at the highest level. If he does want to leave, then bringing in someone of Dybala’s quality as a replacement would certainly not be the worst idea.
