Spurs fans have been discussing an image of Steven Bergwijn which shows the Dutch forward on crutches.
The image was shared by The Spurs Web on Twitter and looks to have been taken from the 22-year-old’s Snapchat account. Bergwijn, who is valued at £31.5 million (Transfermarkt), was injured in the 1-1 draw against Burnley earlier this month, with Jose Mourinho later suggesting that he could miss the rest of the season through injury.
Since joining from PSV in the January transfer window, the winger has contributed two goals and zero assists, averaging a 6.96 rating in the Premier League. After a bright start in his first two games against Manchester City and Aston Villa, the Dutch international’s performances dropped off somewhat before his injury, so Spurs fans will be hoping to see better from the 22-year-old should he return before the end of the season.
Do you think Bergwijn will play again this season?

These Spurs fans don’t seem too happy about Bergwijn’s injury and hope to see him back playing as soon as possible.
What do we think?
The crutches suggest that it could be a long-term injury for Bergwijn, but with the Premier League currently suspended, perhaps we will see him again before the end of the season.
