Spurs fans have been discussing a club post which revealed that both Steven Bergwijn and Heung-Min Son have been granted permission to return to their home countries.
Bergwijn has returned to the Netherlands ahead of the impending birth of his child, whilst Son has returned to South Korea for personal reasons. The club suggests that the injured pair will continue to work on their individual rehabilitation and training programmes during their time away.
So far this season, Son has contributed 16 goals for the North London club in all competitions, whilst Bergwijn has two goals for the club since signing from PSV during the January transfer window.

Who is the better winger?
Steven Bergwijn
Heung-Min Son
Although some fans were concerned about the duo travelling, the majority wished them both safe travels and offered their congratulations to Bergwijn ahead of the birth of his child.
What do we think?
Although travelling may be risky in the current climate, family is, of course, important to these players and as long as it is done safely, it is good that the club have allowed them to go home to see their loved ones.
