Spurs fans have been discussing some footage of Gareth Bale from his final full season with the North London club.
Lilywhite Rose shared some footage of the Welshman’s 2012/13 season, in which he won the PFA Player of the Year award for his performances, before completing a move to Real Madrid in summer 2013. The winger has since gone on to win the Champions League four times with Los Blancos, but he is still regularly linked with a move back to the Premier League.
Injuries, as well as a strained relationship with Zinedine Zidane, have meant that the 30-year-old has featured just 14 times for Real Madrid in La Liga so far this season, which perhaps gives some Spurs fans hope that he could return to his old hunting ground this summer.
Reaction from Spurs fans to the footage of Bale can be seen in the tweets below.

Anyone else see a glimpse of Erling Haaland in this?

Peak Bale. Unbelievable player for these couple of years. Best in the world at this time. Easy.

These Spurs fans would clearly love to see Bale back at the club and enjoyed the footage from the 2012/13 season, with one fan comparing Bale to teenage sensation Erling Braut Haaland, who has scored 12 goals for Borussia Dortmund since joining in January.
Do you think Bale could ever come back to Spurs?
Yes
No
What do we think?
Recent reports have suggested that Real Madrid would be willing to let Bale leave on a free this summer, so perhaps we could see him return to the Lilywhites, as long as he was willing to take a significant pay cut.
