Spurs fans have been discussing some images of Eric Dier and Dele Alli, questioning why the two are rarely seen together anymore.
The Spurs Web shared the images of the two players, suggesting that they used to have a ‘bromance’ together. However, it seems like now the two England internationals are rarely seen together, something which some fans are citing as the reason for their poor form.
So far this season, Alli has averaged a solid, if uninspiring, 6.96 rating for his performances in the Premier League; having contributed eight goals and four assists in the top flight. Dier meanwhile has found game time hard to come by, averaging a 6.63 rating across his 14 appearances in the Premier League.
If you were in the Spurs squad, who would you rather be mates with?
Dele Alli
Eric Dier

They miss it too. It is definitely part of what is missing from their game….

These Spurs fans have certainly noticed that Alli and Dier no longer seem to have the same relationship that they once did at the club.
What do we think?
Forming good relationships with teammates can only be a good thing to help you have chemistry on the pitch and although it’s all just speculation, perhaps their apparent falling out is a factor behind their disappointing performances at times this season.
