Tottenham Hotspur are amongst a number of clubs interested in taking Philippe Coutinho on loan next season, according to Sky Germany (via Sky Sports). The Brazilian left the Premier League to sign for Barcelona back in January 2018 in a deal reportedly worth £130.5m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).

Spurs were reportedly interested in signing the 27-year-old last summer and at one time, according to a report, the North London club were the favourites to bring the attacking midfielder back to the United Kingdom.

Here is what some of the club’s supporters have made of these latest rumours.

What do we think?

Coutinho is currently on loan at Bayern Munich but is due to return to Spain at the end of the current season. It was reported by Bild earlier this year that the Bundesliga giants were not looking to sign the former Liverpool star permanently unless his performances improved.

It’s also understood that Barcelona aren’t keen on him returning to the Camp Nou either (via Sport) and so in our opinion, a move for the £63m-rated star may well be possible.
