Some Southampton fans have recently been raving about their former goalkeeper Kelvin Davis after a video of him against Leeds United went viral.
The Southampton Twitter account recently posted a video about Davis making multiple saves in a game against Leeds United in a Championship game back in 2012. The tweet also said that the Saints had won the game by a 1-0 margin. As per the BBC, Rickie Lambert had scored the winning goal in that game.
Was Leeds in 2012 Davis' best game for Southampton?
Absolutely, no question about it
I can think of better ones
When the Saints account posted the video, it left many fans raving. They were nostalgic and hailed Davis.
It’s mad that wasn’t even his best save of the game #SaintsFC

What do we think?
Davis was at Southampton from the summer of 2006 to the summer of 2016, when he had retired from the game. He had joined the club from Sunderland and went onto make as many as 298 appearances for the Saints. During that time, he kept as many as 95 clean sheets.
Considering Davis was with Southampton during their journey from League One to the Premier League, he deserves immense praise for his contributions.
