Some Southampton fans have been left raving at the club’s media team after they posted a video on Twitter.
The Saints Twitter account posted a video from Southampton’s last meeting against South Coast rivals Portsmouth. They also promoted the idea of washing hands more often but also had ‘over before you know it’ as the caption of the video. They didn’t just refer that to washing hands but to how Southampton beat Portsmouth 4-0 in the League Cup earlier this season.
Do Southampton have the best media team in the Premier League?
Absolutely!
I've seen better ones
This video left many Saints fans lauding the club’s social media team. They loved the video.

The game at Fratton Park earlier in the season had seen Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men progress into the next round of the League Cup. Danny Ings had grabbed a brace, while Nathan Redmond and Cedric Soares had scored a goal each too.
The Saints’ League Cup campaign this season saw Southampton reach the Round of 16 of the competition. They had beaten Portsmouth and Fulham in the previous rounds, before getting knocked out at the hands of Manchester City.
What do we think?
With English football currently suspended till the end of April because of the pandemic issue, this is a good way to capture the attention of fans on social media. It makes the fans happy when there is no football on and the praise the social media team is getting is deserved.
