This week Sheffield United posted a statement regarding the ownership of their club that had many fans shaking their heads.
The announcement indicated that, contrary to a previous statement, the club’s agreement with the Scarborough Group had broken down. This will ultimately lead to Sheffield United’s owner, Prince Abdullah, reengaging in a legal battle against his past business partner Kevin McCabe.
Who do you think is in the right?
Prince Abdullah
Kevin McCabe
When the club posted the statement on Twitter, many fans were left frustrated with McCabe. They reckon that he should just admit defeat and hand the club over without making things difficult. They don’t believe that he has the club’s best interests at heart.
And they have the cheek to use the entity "Sheffield United Limited"

Very sad that he now wants to do harm to the club and it’s supporters, stand firm SUFC any shred of goodwill towards KM, his family and group of companies is gone, sort this quickly and give him what he is asking for, which is to be erased from the clubs history @footballheaven

What do we think?
It is a shame, really. Sheffield United’s season has been incredible, with the newly-promoted outfit in a position where they can challenge for a spot in Europe. They are just two points off fifth place at the moment and have a game in hand.
Unfortunately, this long and drawn out legal battle could leave a sour taste in the mouths of fans who would quite honestly rather just focus on the brilliant football.
