A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a post from Allan Saint-Maximin after he replied to a tweet showing his sublime through ball for Miguel Almiron and thunderous shot – in the Toon’s 3-2 win over West Bromwich Albion in the FA Cup.
Is Saint-Maximin your favourite Newcastle player?
Yes, he brings a different dimension to the team
No, I like him but prefer others
The Frenchman simply replied with three fire emojis and a happy face, but it has drawn a big reaction from these Newcastle fans.

What do we think?
Saint-Maximin was a threat until the 80th minute when he was subbed off (Line-ups), and this pass for Almiron was perfect – as the Paraguayan didn’t even have to break stride as he fired his effort into the bottom corner. (0:25)
The 22-year-old, who is valued at £22.5m by Transfermarkt, was also incredibly unlucky not to score as he unleashed a superb curling effort from distance that smacked the woodwork rather than ending up in the top corner. (0:08)
Newcastle will be hoping that Saint-Maximin can build on this performance as the Toon head to Southampton in their next Premier League game.
