Great player. The way he plays, he scores, creates goals, has speed, crosses, holds the ball up and passes well. Need to keep him. About time we saw this kind of commitment from other players, instead of them giving up and not chasing down balls.

This was just Saint-Maximin’s second Premier League goal, but he showed great pace, anticipation, and determination to capitalise on Valery’s mistake. (0:03)
Newcastle dominated the game, having 62% possession and 14 shots with seven of those on target, but they needed that little bit of magic from the 22-year-old.
This was an important result for the Toon as it moved them eight points clear of the relegation zone and allowed them to complete the double over the Saints.
