A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to Valentino Lazaro’s post after he tweeted a picture of himself in training ahead of the Toon’s clash with Southampton in the Premier League.
The Austrian international scored his first goal for the club on Tuesday night after he bundled the ball home from a fine Newcastle move involving Joelinton, Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almiron. (1:36)
Should Lazaro start against Southampton?

As well as scoring a goal, the 23-year-old also played well against West Bromwich Albion and earned himself an 8/10 rating from the Evening Chronicle.
Certainly, he has received a lot of love from these Newcastle fans.

What do we think?
The 23-year-old, who is valued at £17.1m by Transfermarkt, has had a mixed start to his Toon career after he was arguably at fault for one of the goals against Arsenal (1:21) and was then sent off against Crystal Palace – as he hauled Wilfried Zaha down with the Palace man in on goal. (2:33)
However, this could be a turning point for Lazaro, who is on loan with the Toon until the end of the season.
This goal could be a springboard for him to go and finish the season strongly.
