Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed recent comments made by Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore.
The comments, which were made in a Q&A on the Wolves website, were in reaction to a question concerning who Traore believed his playing style most resembled, to which he responded: “[Wilifried] Zaha and [Raheem] Sterling maybe, but I am not like them, more like they are like me.”
In reaction to the quote, which was relayed by Man City Xtra on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many claiming that they believe Traore to be deluded, while others have simply laughed the Spaniard’s remarks off.

What do we think?
Although Traore is enjoying a fine season with Wolves, scoring four goals and providing seven assists over his 28 Premier League appearances, it would seem that he still has a way to go in order to compete with Wilfried Zaha, and particularly, Raheem Sterling.
Although Zaha and Traore share a similar record this season, the Crystal Palace player has scored three goals and provided five assists in 29 league games, Sterling’s Premier League record dwarfs that of the Wolves winger, with 11 goals and two assists over 24 league fixtures.
As such, it would appear that City fans have quite a valid argument against Traore’s claims.
