Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays comments made by Charlie Nicholas on Arsenal forward, and Manchester United target, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
In an interview with Sky Sports (via Manchester Evening News), Nicolas claimed that he could not see the appeal of a summer move to Manchester United for Aubameyang, however, if it were Manchester City or Liverpool interested, then the case would be different. He stated:
“Would he want to be a part of a superstar reload at Manchester United? Is there a great appeal to that? If it was Liverpool or Man City I would get it, but Manchester United are miles away from the top two. I do not see the appeal of moving to Old Trafford.”
In reaction to the comments, which were relayed by City Chief on Twitter, fans of Manchester City have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many stating their belief that the Arsenal forward would not fit their system, while others claimed that City would not be interested in Aubameyang whatsoever.

“Would he [Aubameyang] get into Liverpool's side? No. Manchester City could be an option if they were looking to replace Sergio Aguero."

What do we think?
While it is clear that many City fans would rather not see a summer move for the £63million-rated Aubameyang, it is difficult to deny that the Gabon international is having a fine season.
The 30-year-old Arsenal captain has scored 17 goals in 26 Premier League appearances, as well as a further three goals in six Europa League fixtures while averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.99 in the league and a 6.93 in Europe.
As such, despite many of the City fans protests, a summer move for Aubameyang may not be the worst move in the world for City.
