Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to make their feelings known on Georginio Wijnaldum’s future at the Merseyside club.
This comes after Liverpool news Twitter account @AnfieldWatch shared a post on their official page asking their followers if they would like to see the Dutchman sign a new contract at the club.

The 29-year-old, who is currently valued at £45 million according to Transfermarkt, has his current contract at the club running out at the end of June next year. After making 177 appearances for the Reds since his arrival from fellow Premier League side Newcastle United, Wijnaldum has gone on to score 18 goals and provide 16 assists for the club. Now that the question has been asked on Twitter whether the Liverpool supporters want to see Wijnaldum stay at Anfield for the foreseeable future, this has given lots of fans the opportunity to share their appreciation for the midfielder.
