Liverpool are not in talks with Adam Lallana over a new contract, according to the Liverpool Echo. The 31-year-old’s contract is due to expire at the end of this season and it’s understood that he is wanting of more first-team action, something that Jurgen Klopp cannot guarantee him.
The former Southampton star moved to Anfield in July 2015 for a reported fee of £27.9m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk) but has been limited to just 15 Premier League appearances this season. Here’s how some of the Liverpool fans have reacted to the news Lallana’s time on Merseyside appears to be approaching its end.
Are you happy to see Lallana move on this summer?

Never understood his role or value with the club. Lots of paychecks and little contribution.

Whereas others were already discussing who might replace him in the first-team squad.

What do we think?
Adam Lallana has played 261 times for the Reds, scoring 59 goals and providing 48 assists to date. According to WhoScored.com, his average performance rating this season stands at 6.34/10 which might explain why some of these supporters aren’t against the attacking midfielder moving on.
