It was announced on Thursday that English football would remain suspended until at least the 30th April in order to continue the fight against the recent viral outbreak (via BBC Sport).
The Football Association has also agreed that the season will be extended indefinitely so that all the scheduled domestic and European fixtures can take place whenever it is deemed safe. This summer’s European championships have also been postponed meaning if the season was to spill over into the summer months there would be no clash between the club and international competitions.
Are the authorities right to extend the season indefinitely?
Yes
No
West Ham United’s vice-chairperson Karren Brady has recently called for the season to be declared “null and void” but given this week’s announcement, some Liverpool supporters have taken to social media to mock her.

What do we think?
The news that the Premier League season will be concluded no matter how long it takes will come as a boost to those Liverpool fans who feared Karren Brady’s suggestion may have been upheld and as a result, they would be denied their first championship since the 1989/90 season.
