What do we think?
It seems the general consensus amongst these Liverpool fans is that their team could not have done much more. The Reds had an incredible 34 attempts at goal, of which 11 were on target (as per BBC Sport). Trent Alexander-Arnold’s individual display earned him a performance rating of 7.2/10 according to WhoScored.com. The second-leg versus Atletico Madrid was his 28th appearance in the competition (via Transfermarkt.co.uk) despite being just 21-years-old.
A winner of the competition last season, the England defender has established himself as a regular in Jurgen Klopp’s side having started in 97% of their Premier League fixtures so far.
