Former Liverpool star Fernando Torres celebrates his birthday on the 20th March and the club have dedicated a Twitter post to their former striker.
The Spaniard, who retired in 2019 last played for Sagan Tosu in the J1 League for whom he made 40 appearances, scoring seven goals. Torres left Anfield in 2011 to join their Premier League rivals Chelsea in a deal worth a reported £52.6m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk), so how have the supporters responded to the post?
Have you forgiven Fernando Torres for joining Chelsea?

What do we think?
It’s clear from the responses that Fernando Torres’ move to Chelsea caused much pain for a number of Liverpool supporters, but despite all that went on, there remains a great deal of respect and appreciation for his talents and contributions during his time at Anfield.
The former Atletico Madrid striker scored 81 goals in 142 appearances for the Reds and was unable to replicate that form at Stamford Bridge. During his time in London, Torres scored 45 goals in 172 appearances, therefore, you could argue he gave his best years to the Merseyside giants.
