Liverpool have indicated that they are willing to offload Xherdan Shaqiri this summer, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The report claims that the Swiss international was wanted by both Sevilla and Roma in January and suggests that the 28-year-old will again attract interest this summer.
Would you like to see the club hold on to Shakiri?
Yes
No
Paul Gorst, the Echo’s Liverpool FC correspondent, says that the club has indicated privately that the bidding will open at £25m.
Here is how some of the fans have responded to the update.
The ones that should be “discarded” are lovren and lallana. Shaqiri deserves better than how he’s being treated here.

I do not like the way you say it…. It sounds like he wasn’t a good player, but he was. I wish him well wherever he goes #ynwa

What do we think?
Shaqiri has made just six Premier League appearances so far this season; his last one came in January during the 1-0 away win over Tottenham Hotspur. Signed from Stoke City in 2018, the former Inter player cost the Reds £13.23m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk) and has gone on to appear for the club 40 times.
It’s clear from the above responses that these supporters believe he still has something to offer and that there are others who should be moved on first.
