It is unlikely Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian will leave the club this summer, with Jurgen Klopp said to be happy with his current goalkeeping options, according to the Liverpool Echo’s Ian Doyle, who answered questions from readers on the Reds’ transfer plans.
Adrian’s error in the recent UEFA Champions League tie with Atletico Madrid played a significant part in the Reds’ exit from the competition, although his boss refused to hold him solely responsible.
Is Adrian good enough to be Liverpool's second choice goalkeeper?
Yes
No
In response to the article, here is what some Liverpool supporters have had to say.
Let’s be real though. Klopp is always ‘happy’ with his options right up until he replaced them. He was happy with his defenders and then signed Van Dijk. He was happy with Karius and then he signed Alisson.

Good, he’s a solid backup. Scapegoating him won’t fix our profligacy up front or lack of focus among the rest of the 11.

This is why we wont dominate the league for years to come and we probably will start to decline in two years. Lack of steel.

What do we think?
It’s clear from the responses that not all of these supporters are convinced Jurgen Klopp will be totally happy with all of his goalkeeping options. However, there appears to be an acceptance amongst some that it’s unlikely a world-class goalkeeper would be willing to play second fiddle to Alisson at Anfield.
Adrian has made 18 appearances for the Reds in all competitions since he arrived in the summer, during which he has kept three clean sheets. Some of these fans may have lost patience with the 33-year-old, but it appears he remains a part of Klopp’s plans.
